Attorney Profiles

Brenda Abrams is Editor of Florida Family Law, a five-volume treatise on family law in Florida, considered to be the premier set of books in the field.  She is also  Editor The Family Law Reporter,  the Family Law Litigation Handbook,  and the software program, Florida Family Law Automated Forms.  All publications and software are published by Lexis Publishing. She has authored “Everything About How to Divorce in Florida,” which is a “How To” guide, which explains legal procedure and substantive law to the public.

Brenda Abrams has been listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America from 1987 through the present and designated as a “Super Lawyer.” Brenda lectures extensively in the area of Family Law. She is Past Chair of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys.

Brenda has been an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law and at Nova Law School, teaching advanced courses in Family Law Litigation and Collection of Judgments.
