Andrew B. Blasi Represents Sellers of South Florida Student Housing Projects

The two Boca Raton rental projects will be added to Florida Atlantic University’s student housing stock. Rosemurgy Properties and Giles Capital Group, the developers of the University Park student housing project in Boca Raton, acquired Boca Sol and Addison Park, both on Northeast 20th Street, from selling entities which were represented by Mr. Blasi. Boca Sol sold for $8.7 million, and Addison Park for 4 million. According to the Sun-Sentinel, Alex Rosemurgy, head of Rosemurgy Properties, told the newspaper the two acquisitions increase the partners’ investment in the corridor to more than $100 million, and that Addison Park has been renamed University View, while Boca Sol has been renamed University Square. In a separate, unrelated student housing transaction, Mr. Blasi represented Davie Collegiate LLC in its $8M sale of a Nova University Student Housing Project in Davie, Florida, to a group also affiliated with Rosemurgy Properties.
